the disappearance of my girl scout cookies

Minute 1: It's been about half a minute since my cookies have been taken from me. I predict a tough journey ahead without them. They're so close- and yet so far. Just a few paces, I tell myself. But if I mess this up my 2 Samoas will be gone for good.

Minute 2: I'm beginning to feel withdraws. The seconds without cookie have been the hardest of my life. Send help (or cookies).

Minute 3: I'm literally quaking. I still have a box of Samoas and two Thin Mints in my locker, but I'm not gonna cheat my way into getting a cookie.

Minute 5: I can hardly remember what they taste like. I'm afraid- afraid that I'll forget. But I tell myself, "I'll never forget." Their memory will last a lifetime... until the end of 9th period.

Minute 10: All I can think about is how I had taken my time with my cookies for granted. I'm sorry, Samoa. But I think this is the end.
