My Childhood Shows

When I was about 4 years old, my favorite shows were Go Diego Go and Spongebob. I would always get home from school, my mom waiting in the kitchen with some food, and then sit down on the couch. All of the episodes were pre-recorded by my mother. By now, I knew exactly how to turn on the TV, get to my show, pause, and play. I would watch in peace until my brother got home from first grade. (It might have been second, I can't remember).
He crashed into the house, threw his bag, and immediately decided he wanted to ruin everything. Arm outstretched, running, he clicked the button at the bottom of the TV. Spongebob and Patrick's faces would fade to black, and he cackled as I screeched. It seemed like a tragedy. But that wasn't the worst part- he would turn the show back on, watch it with me, and when he found something especially funny, rewind. Twenty or thirty times. I wish I could say I was exaggerating. The same noise, picture, scene, over and over, and over. Eventually I gave up and stormed into my room to play with my dolls. Only if he didn't decide to ruin that, too.

  1. Do you and your brother get along now? Fun fact I'm an only child but I have a younger aunt and uncle that I consider my siblings.

    1. He just ignores me most of the time, so it's kinda like I'm an only child. Your aunt and uncle sound great though
